We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our care team at Bethany Care Society. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality care and support to our residents, their families, and volunteers.
Key Responsibilities- Resident-Centered Care: Provide exceptional care and support to residents, prioritizing their needs and preferences.
- Documentation: Accurately and comprehensively document resident care assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
- Safety: Contribute to a safe environment for residents, team members, and self by adhering to safety guidelines and practices.
- Pro-Active Learner: Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, staying up-to-date with best practices and industry developments.
- Team Work: Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary team to achieve and maintain a responsible atmosphere of resident-centered care.
- Leadership: Provide direction and supervision to Health Care Aides and assume the 'In Charge' role when necessary.
- Graduate of a recognized Licensed Practical Nursing program
- Previous LPN experience is preferred
- Active Registration and good standing with CLPNA
- Able to work effectively in a physically and mentally demanding environment
- Demonstrates ability to understand, speak, read, and write effectively in English
- Excellent observation, communication, and critical thinking skills
- Current CPR certification
- Dementia Care Certificate and experience preferred
- Knowledge of RAI/MDS 2.0 tool, computer skills, and electronic documentation is preferred
