About the Role
The Health Care Aide at Bethany Care Society is responsible for providing exceptional care and support to residents, families, and volunteers. This role requires a passion for care and a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote service excellence and respond to the holistic needs of residents.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, maintaining their privacy and dignity.
- Accurately document and report care and related observations to the Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Contribute to a safe environment for residents, the team, and self by understanding and adhering to safety guidelines and practices.
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to learning and teamwork.
Requirements
- Grade 10 education and Government of Alberta approved Health Care Aide certificate.
- Registered with the Government of Alberta Health Care Aide Directory.
- Ability to work effectively in a physically and mentally demanding environment.
- Excellent observation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
