Job Summary:

School District No. 43 (Coquitlam) invites applications for principal and vice principal positions from individuals who are seeking challenging educational leadership opportunities.

We are a large school district located within a 40-minute drive from downtown Vancouver, serving a population of 32,000 students with approximately 4,300 teaching, administrative, managerial, and support staff.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervise school programs, services, students, and staff
  • Report to the Superintendent of Schools and Assistant Superintendents
  • Responsible for a variety of duties, including supervision and management

Requirements:

  • Minimum of five complete years of successful teaching and/or administrative experience
  • Completed master's degree, coupled with previous experience in an administrative role
  • Strong belief and commitment to public education
  • Familiarity with technology used in supporting student learning and experience with differentiated teaching practices
