Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Educator to join our team at Fraser Health. As a key member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering educational programs that promote best practices and improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement educational programs that meet the needs of our nursing staff and patients
  • Collaborate with other practice leaders to provide leadership, consultation, and performance support to clinical staff
  • Support staff to plan and carry out patient education about discharge planning, illness prevention, and health maintenance
  • Participate in quality improvement and risk management activities to evaluate the effectiveness of our educational programs
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to promote staff awareness and involvement in research activities
Qualifications
  • Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives
  • Three years of recent related clinical experience in the designated clinical area, including one year of education and/or leadership experience
  • Completion of post-graduate coursework and/or certification applicable to the designated clinical area
