Sophia & Spritz is seeking a skilled Lead Bartender Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our hospitality staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our cocktail lounge and bar.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly organized and experienced bartender who can supervise food and beverage servers and other staff, maintain inventory and control of bar stock, and address customers' complaints or concerns. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work well under pressure, and have a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Organize the operations of a cocktail lounge or bar
  • Clean bar area and wash glassware
  • Serve food or snacks
  • Hire and dismiss staff
  • Supervise food and beverage servers and other staff
  • Store beverage and food products
  • Order bar stock and maintain inventory and control of bar stock
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Prepare mixed drinks, wine, draft or bottled beer and non-alcoholic beverages
  • Take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons
  • Resolve conflict situations

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of experience in a similar role
  • Proven track record of success in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Able to work well under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail
