We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Human Resources Director to join our team at Homes First Society. Job Summary

The Senior Human Resources Director will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, employee development, benefits administration, and labor relations. You will work closely with senior leaders to develop and implement strategic initiatives that drive business results and foster a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive human resources strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives
  • Lead the recruitment and selection process to attract top talent and build a diverse and inclusive workforce
  • Design and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
  • Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, coaching, and counseling
  • Provide guidance on employment law compliance, policy development, and collective bargaining agreements
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 4+ years of experience in human resources management, preferably in a unionized setting
  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, standards, and guidelines
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
