Human Resources Director for Hotel Operations

Manga Hotel Group is a privately held Canadian company with a strong focus on acquiring, developing, and managing high-quality hotels affiliated with renowned brands. The company currently owns and operates 31 hotels across Canada and the United States, offering over 5,800 rooms, as well as 18 food and beverage outlets and 5 residential properties.
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Director to join our senior corporate leadership team. This role will be instrumental in building a skilled and motivated workforce that drives organizational success across our diverse properties.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to oversee and manage human resource needs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. You will direct and oversee hotel recruitment and hiring activities, develop and maintain training programs, and maintain accurate employee records.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field, along with strong knowledge of federal, state, and provincial employment laws and regulations in both the US and Canada. A Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) or Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) certification is preferred.
Responsibilities:
Oversight of human resource needs and development of HR strategies to attract, retain, and develop talent.Directing and overseeing hotel recruitment and hiring activities.Developing and maintaining training programs, including anti-harassment and anti-discrimination training.Maintaining accurate employee records using human resources information systems.Developing, communicating, and enforcing company policies and administrative standards.Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field.Strong knowledge of federal, state, and provincial employment laws and regulations in both the US and Canada.Minimum of 5 years of experience in compensation and benefits management, with at least 3 years in a similar role covering both the US and Canada.Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) or Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) certification is preferred.What We Offer:
We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $120,000 per annum, based on experience, plus comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
