Job Responsibilities

As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Implementing new vendor managed agreements at customer sites
  • Replenishing shop supplies through automated dispensing machines or other forms of vendor managed inventory
  • Providing on-site assistance relating to products and equipment
  • Acting as Tenaquip's sales liaison when on site
  • Performing physical inventory counts and making adjustments when necessary
  • Operating vending machine software and scanning equipment
  • Performing maintenance of vending machines
  • Following up on sales requests and entering quotes

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in customer service
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong computer literacy (MS Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and technical abilities
  • Product knowledge an asset
  • A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
  • The ability to work autonomously
  • Excellent time management skills
