Job Title: Chef

My Roti Place My Dosa Place is seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our team. As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals for our customers, ensuring that they are of the highest quality and presented in a visually appealing way.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook meals and specialty foods to order
  • Estimate and manage food costs, consumption, and inventory
  • Supervise and train cooking staff to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu items
  • Ensure that all food safety and sanitation standards are met
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity
Requirements:
  • 3 years of experience as a Chef in a commercial kitchen
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree preferred
  • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation and presentation
  • Ability to work in a team environment and lead others
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity
Working Conditions:
  • Work in a commercial kitchen environment
  • Stand for long periods and lift heavy objects

Language:
  • English is the primary language of communication
Work Schedule:
  • 40 hours per week
