About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Flooring Specialist to join our team at K-Town Carpets and Flooring Ltd. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for installing high-quality flooring solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Prepare flooring plans and schedules for installation
  • Measure, cut, and install resilient floor coverings, including carpeting
  • Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings
  • Conduct moisture, pH, temperature, and other tests prior to flooring installations
  • Estimate costs and materials for flooring projects
  • Prepare floors for installations, including removing existing floor coverings and contaminants
  • Install carpeting on walls or other surfaces
  • Perform direct glue-down and double-bond carpet installations
