Position Overview

SSK Construction Ltd. is seeking a dedicated and skilled Flooring Specialist to join our team. This role involves a variety of tasks related to the installation and maintenance of floor coverings.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 to less than 5 years in a similar role is essential.
Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect, measure, and mark surfaces that require coverage.
  • Measure, cut, and secure underlay and padding materials.
  • Prepare and install hardwood flooring.
  • Assess and repair any damaged floor coverings.
  • Utilize knee kickers and other tools to stretch carpeting effectively.
  • Execute direct glue-down carpet installations.
  • Install vinyl decking materials as needed.
Safety and Security
  • Must be bondable.
Work Environment
  • This position is physically demanding, requiring bending, crouching, and kneeling.
