Position Overview

MOOSE FLOORING LTD. is seeking a dedicated Flooring Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various flooring techniques and materials.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in flooring installation is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct inspections, measurements, and markings on surfaces designated for coverage.
  • Measure, cut, and secure underlay and padding materials.
  • Accurately measure, cut, and install carpeting on various floor surfaces.
  • Prepare and install hardwood flooring with precision.
  • Inspect and rectify any damages to existing floor coverings.
  • Estimate project costs and required materials effectively.
  • Prepare surfaces for new installations by removing old coverings and contaminants.
  • Install carpeting on walls or alternative surfaces as needed.
  • Utilize knee kickers and specialized equipment for proper carpet stretching.
  • Execute direct glue-down carpet installations with expertise.
