Position Overview

MOOSE FLOORING LTD. is seeking a skilled Flooring Installation Specialist to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various flooring types and be able to deliver high-quality installations.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in flooring installation is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect, measure, and mark surfaces to be covered with flooring materials.
  • Measure, cut, and secure underlay and padding as needed.
  • Install carpeting on floors, ensuring a precise fit.
  • Prepare and install hardwood flooring, maintaining high standards of craftsmanship.
  • Inspect and repair any damaged floor coverings to ensure quality.
  • Estimate costs and materials required for flooring projects.
  • Prepare surfaces for new installations by removing existing coverings and contaminants.
  • Install carpeting on walls or other vertical surfaces as required.
  • Utilize knee kickers and other tools to stretch carpeting effectively.
  • Perform direct glue-down carpet installations with attention to detail.
