Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Lead - Laboratory to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and quality of our raw and packaging materials, pathogen environmental monitoring, water programs, testing controls, calibration, CoA verification, and finished product testing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of Quality Technicians to support various programs, including food safety and quality programs, pathogen environmental monitoring, and water programs.
  • Owning the Standard Work Process of Supplier Quality, which is part of the Quality Management pillar.
  • Provide training on continuous improvement tools and techniques to departments, and help them follow our established daily management system.
  • Help teams collect data or extract it from the system to support CI activities and the DMS.
Requirements
  • A post-secondary degree in a science-related field, such as Food Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or Microbiology.
  • Ability to lead a team of Quality Specialists that own the programs managed by the Quality Assurance department.
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma tools to address quality losses.
  • Advanced computer skills, work proficiently with Microsoft Office, and excellent MS Excel skills.
  • SAP knowledge is preferred.
Work Environment

This position is 100% based on-site, and home office is not available. The regular work schedule is Monday to Friday, with 24/7 support when required.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this role is $85,000-$110,000, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
