Job Title: Shift Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Manager to join our team at Five Guys Burgers and Fries. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of food service staff and ensuring that our customers receive an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Prepare food order summaries for the chef and ensure that food is delivered to the correct areas of the restaurant.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a food service environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and completion of a food safety certification program.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
