Job Title: Shift Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Manager to join our team at Ontario Inc.

Job Summary:

The Shift Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This includes supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining high standards of quality and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Prepare and submit reports
  • Supervise and check assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
