Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

UDHAY BRAR TRUCKING LTD. is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations, using your expertise in route planning and navigation to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment and GPS devices to optimize fuel efficiency and reduce environmental impact.
  • Drive a tractor-trailer to transport goods and materials, ensuring safe and secure cargo handling.
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle, performing regular inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance.
  • Communicate with central dispatch and relay information regarding route changes, delays, and other important updates.
  • Load and unload goods, ensuring accurate and efficient cargo handling.
Requirements:
  • AZ class license and Air Brake (Z) Endorsement.
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Basic security clearance.
  • Ability to work overtime, with a physically demanding schedule.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
