About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at UDHAY BRAR TRUCKING LTD. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Route Planning and Execution: Plan and adjust routes based on changing conditions, utilizing computer equipment, GPS, and other navigation devices to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
  • Mountain Driving Expertise: Demonstrate expertise in driving in mountainous terrain, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of goods.
  • Logistics and Coordination: Arrange travel itineraries, make reservations, and oversee the loading and unloading of goods.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, ensuring the vehicle is in good working condition, and oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance.
  • Communication and Customer Service: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, provide excellent customer service, and ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Cargo Security and Safety: Ensure the safety and security of cargo, including tarping and securing loads.
Requirements
  • Certifications and Licenses: Possess an AZ class license, Air Brake (Z) Endorsement, and a valid Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Experience and Training: Willingness to train and a minimum of [insert experience level] years of experience in long haul trucking.
