About the Role

We are seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to join our team at HealthVenture Staffing Ltd. in a nursing home setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities to promote physical and mental well-being.
  • Perform various duties related to patient care, including supplying and emptying bed pans, serving meal trays, and feeding patients as needed.
  • Weigh, lift, turn, and position patients with care and attention to their comfort.
  • Maintain patients' rooms by making beds and ensuring the environment is clean and organized.
  • Bathe, dress, and groom patients to enhance their dignity and overall quality of life.
  • Transport patients safely using wheelchairs or stretchers when necessary.
Requirements
  • Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with colleagues and foster a supportive team environment.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, kneel, and walk frequently throughout the shift.
Education and Certifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; other trades certificate or diploma an asset.
  • Hold current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate, First Aid Certificate, and CPR Certificate.
Compensation

The estimated salary range for this role is $50,000-$65,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
