Culinary Artist for Japanese Cuisine

We are seeking an experienced Culinary Artist to join our team at Shio Japanese Kitchen Ltd. as a Line Cook.
The ideal candidate will possess strong culinary skills, with a passion for preparing and cooking high-quality Japanese dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Responsibilities- Cooking and Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to our high standards of quality and presentation.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization, maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Sourcing and Supplies: Order supplies and equipment as needed, managing our inventory levels to maintain efficiency and minimize waste.
- Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean kitchen and work areas, ensuring a safe and healthy working environment.
- Culinary Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a Japanese restaurant environment.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Work Setting: Restaurant environment, working under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
- Language: Fluency in English is required.
