About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Concrete Production Coordinator to join our team at Aecon. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to play a key role in the success of our concrete production operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain Comprehensive Work Packages in collaboration with construction, engineering, and quality teams to ensure effective concrete production.
  • Provide regular status reports on project milestones and adjust concrete delivery schedules as needed to meet project requirements.
  • Coordinate preparation and delivery of project deliverables, including design specifications, as-built drawings, and quality documentation.
  • Evaluate and ensure that concrete production activities comply with written policies, standards, programs, and procedures.
  • Serve as a liaison between concrete suppliers and construction teams to facilitate information flow and problem resolution.
  • Forecast and track change orders and scope changes; coordinate site procurement activities, including material validation and purchase requisitions.
  • Establish and maintain interfaces with concrete suppliers and construction teams; develop detailed work plans in cooperation with construction leads.
  • Maintain high standards related to final product quality through regular field tours and meetings with project site personnel.
  • Carry out site and concrete supplier safety and quality inspections.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Experience working with concrete materials codes and standards.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project engineering in a construction or EPC environment.
  • Experience working under a Nuclear Quality Program is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication (oral and written), and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for communicating with large teams; ability to prioritize and multi-task.
