The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the department, including scheduling, budgeting, financial management, and staff development. A strong leader with excellent communication and problem-solving skills is required to provide guidance and support to employees.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, sales, and profit margins.
  • Manage inventory levels, maintain stockroom organization, and ensure effective use of resources.
  • Monitor and control costs, manage expenses, and optimize labor efficiency.
  • Co-ordinate employee training, performance evaluations, and career development planning.
  • Collaborate with Centre Managers, Assistant Centre Managers, and Produce Operations Directors to achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field; or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience in retail or produce operations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong analytical and organizational abilities.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and software.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000-$90,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision coverage, RRSP matching, and paid vacation time.
