We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Kitchen Manager to join our team at Nodo Restaurant. This is a permanent position, working 35 to 40 hours per week.

About the Role

As an Executive Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of our kitchen staff, ensuring that food is prepared to the highest standards. You will work closely with our chef to develop menus and ensure that all aspects of food preparation and presentation meet our quality control standards.

The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to train and motivate staff to achieve their full potential. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff
  • Train and develop staff to improve performance and productivity
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Work closely with the chef to develop menus and improve food quality
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
