Job Title: Sous Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Doc's Restaurant & Pub Ltd. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the preparation and presentation of our menu items.

Job Summary:

The Sous Chef will be responsible for:

  • Assisting the Executive Chef in the preparation and presentation of menu items
  • Managing kitchen operations, including inventory, ordering, and scheduling
  • Leading a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and high-quality food production
  • Maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment
  • Collaborating with the Executive Chef to develop and implement new menu items and specials
Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will have:

  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation and presentation
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
