Job Title: Sous Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Doc's Restaurant & Pub Ltd. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the preparation and presentation of our menu items.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the kitchen staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Monitor food quality and presentation, making adjustments as necessary to ensure consistency and excellence.
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu items, working closely with the Executive Chef and other members of the culinary team.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards and regulations.
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, presentation, and safety procedures.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
