Sedgwick Strategies Inc. is seeking a skilled Business Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and evaluate communication strategies to meet business objectives
  • Implement communication strategies through various channels, including reports, briefs, and website content
  • Provide consultation services to clients on planning and starting new businesses
  • Train staff on effective communication techniques
  • Respond to inquiries from the business community on development opportunities
  • Assist in the preparation of marketing materials, including brochures and reports
  • Coordinate special events and promotions to drive business growth
  • Deliver presentations at conferences and workshops to promote business development
  • Develop and implement business plans to drive strategic growth
  • Provide ongoing support to clients after sale
  • Supervise office and volunteer staff to ensure effective communication

Requirements:

  • College/CEGEP education
  • 1-2 years of experience in business development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Work Environment:

  • 40 hours per week
  • English language
