Job Title: Stone Products Machine Operator

Majestic Stone is seeking a skilled Stone Products Machine Operator to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating various machines to cut, grind, and polish stone products to meet our high standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate blade or wire saws to cut blocks of stone to specified dimensions
  • Check products for quality control
  • Move products using forklift, crane or hydraulic hoist
  • Operate machines to grind and polish surfaces of stone blocks, slabs or other stone products to specific shape or design and to produce a smooth finish
  • Perform ongoing machine adjustments
  • Operate machines to drill holes in blocks or slabs of stone according to specifications
  • Finish stone products with spray paint and by mounting plaques or installing concrete bases
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Handling heavy loads
  • Weight handling: up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 40 hours per week
