About the Role

Majestic Stone is seeking a skilled Stone Products Machine Operator to join our team. As a key member of our fabrication department, you will be responsible for operating machinery to cut, grind, and polish stone products to precise specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Machine Operation: Safely operate various machines, including blade saws, wire saws, and grinders, to cut and shape stone products to meet customer requirements.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure products meet our high standards.
  • Material Handling: Move products using forklifts, cranes, or hydraulic hoists, ensuring safe and efficient handling.
  • Maintenance and Adjustments: Perform routine maintenance and adjustments on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Drilling and Finishing: Operate machines to drill holes in stone blocks or slabs and finish products with spray paint and mounting plaques or concrete bases.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Conditions: Work in a fast-paced fabrication environment with exposure to dust, noise, and heavy machinery.
  • Physical Capabilities: Handle heavy loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a physically demanding role.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
