Job Summary

Majestic Stone is seeking a skilled Stone Products Machine Operator to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating machinery to cut, grind, and polish stone blocks and slabs to meet our high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate blade or wire saws to cut stone blocks to specified dimensions
  • Check products for quality control, ensuring they meet our quality standards
  • Move products using forklifts, cranes, or hydraulic hoists, handling heavy loads with ease
  • Operate machines to grind and polish surfaces of stone blocks, slabs, or other stone products to specific shapes or designs
  • Perform ongoing machine adjustments to maintain optimal performance
  • Operate machines to drill holes in blocks or slabs of stone according to specifications
  • Finish stone products with spray paint and by mounting plaques or installing concrete bases
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Work in a fast-paced production environment, handling heavy loads and working at heights
  • Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) weight handling
  • Permanent full-time position, 40 hours per week
  • English language required
