About the Role

Majestic Stone is seeking a skilled Stone Products Machine Operator to join our team. As a key member of our fabrication department, you will be responsible for operating machinery to cut, grind, and polish stone products to precise specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate machinery to cut, grind, and polish stone products to specified dimensions and finishes.
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet our high standards.
  • Move products using forklifts, cranes, or hydraulic hoists to facilitate efficient production.
  • Perform ongoing machine adjustments to maintain optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Operate drilling equipment to create holes in stone blocks or slabs according to specifications.
  • Finish stone products with spray paint and by mounting plaques or installing concrete bases.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work in a fast-paced production environment with heavy machinery and equipment.
  • Handle heavy loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs) with ease.
  • Work a standard 40-hour week with regular breaks and time off.
  • Communicate effectively in English with colleagues and management.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
