About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Stone Products Fabricator to join our team at Majestic Stone. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating machinery to cut, grind, and polish stone products to precise specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate blade or wire saws to cut blocks of stone to specified dimensions
  • Check products for quality control
  • Move products using forklift, crane or hydraulic hoist
  • Operate machines to grind and polish surfaces of stone blocks, slabs or other stone products to specific shape or design and to produce a smooth finish
  • Perform ongoing machine adjustments
  • Operate machines to drill holes in blocks or slabs of stone according to specifications
  • Finish stone products with spray paint and by mounting plaques or installing concrete bases
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role requires the ability to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent physical stamina and be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) regularly.

Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 40 hours per week
