We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing technical and administrative project specifications;
  • Conducting daily inspections to ensure compliance with specified standards;
  • Informing the Project Manager of project developments and discussing planned methods with site management;
  • Collaborating with the Superintendent to order critical materials from suppliers;
  • Tracking quantities and costs for productivity analysis and accurate job cost forecasting;
  • Maintaining the cost control cycle throughout project execution, including budget tracking and schedule monitoring;
  • Ensuring hours, expenses, costs, and budget updates are accurately recorded;
  • Coordinating with the project team to monitor changes and resolve issues related to budgets and schedules;
  • Tabling and formatting information into client-ready formats;
  • Preparing high-quality project reports, executive summaries, and dashboards;
  • Maintaining document control, including documentation formatting and cloud-based filing system management;
  • Assisting in preparing final records for the project, including as-builts;
  • Organizing and participating in various meetings;
  • Fostering communication between suppliers, sub-contractors, professionals, and clients;
  • Performing field duties related to the project.
Requirements
  • A post-secondary degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field; alternatively, a combination of technical training and relevant experience;
  • At least 5 years of industry experience, preferably in the contracting industry (heavy civil preferred);
  • The ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical design drawings;
  • Experience with scheduling and planning site activities;
  • Proficiency in computer software, including Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, BlueBeam, AutoCAD, etc.;
  • Experience with cost analysis, control, and reporting;
  • Commercial knowledge and experience with contracts are considered an asset;
  • Bilingualism is an asset, but proficiency in English with excellent communication skills (written and verbal) is required.
