Restaurant General Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant General Manager to join our team at Skye Avenue - Kitchen & Lounge. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management
- Develop and implement strategies to improve restaurant performance, including sales, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement.
- Lead and motivate a team of restaurant staff, including servers, bartenders, hosts/hostesses, and kitchen personnel.
- Recruit, train, and develop high-performing team members to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation.
- Operations and Logistics
- Oversee the management of restaurant inventory, including food, beverages, and supplies.
- Coordinate the maintenance and upkeep of the restaurant, including equipment, facilities, and grounds.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Financial Management
- Develop and manage budgets, including labor, inventory, and overhead costs.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, including sales, profits, and expenses.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and implement strategies to improve profitability.
- Customer Service and Experience
- Ensure exceptional customer service, including prompt and friendly service, accurate orders, and timely resolution of customer complaints.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, including loyalty programs, promotions, and events.
- Education
- College or CEGEP diploma in a related field, such as hospitality, business, or management.
- Experience
- At least 3 years of experience in a restaurant management role, preferably in a similar environment.
- Skills
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, including inventory management, labor laws, and health and safety regulations.
