Restaurant General Manager Job Description

MONTANA'S BBQ AND BAR is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant General Manager to lead our team and drive business success. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Management: Lead and manage a team of 16-20 staff members, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure high performance and job satisfaction.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and supply chain logistics, to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Customer Service: Foster a culture of exceptional customer service, ensuring that every guest has a positive and memorable experience.
  • Financial Management: Manage restaurant finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control, to ensure profitability and growth.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive sales growth and increase brand awareness.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a senior restaurant management role.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Strong business acumen and financial management skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
