Job Title: Senior Analyst, Data Compliance

Join the Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI) team as a Senior Analyst, Data Compliance. We are seeking a highly skilled professional to support our Data Request Services team in responding to custom data requests related to CIHI's acute and ambulatory care data.

About the Role

The Senior Analyst, Data Compliance will be responsible for developing documentation and providing support to internal and external stakeholders related to 3rd party data disclosure policies, procedures, and tooling. This includes working with clients to develop request specifications and requirements, data extraction and quality assurance activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to data disclosure policies, procedures, and tooling
  • Provide support to internal and external stakeholders on data disclosure policies and procedures
  • Work with clients to develop request specifications and requirements
  • Conduct data extraction and quality assurance activities
  • Provide professional and timely client support to respond to internal and external client queries
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in Health Sciences, Health Informatics, Statistics, Social Sciences or a related field
  • Three to five years related experience working with relational databases / large datasets
  • Proficiency with data manipulation and statistical software, such as SAS, R, Python or other statistical software
  • Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office applications
  • Proven organizational and time management skills
