Senior Data Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst to join our Data Request Services team at the Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI). As a Senior Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in responding to custom data requests related to CIHI's acute and ambulatory care data.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain documentation and provide support to internal and external stakeholders related to 3rd party data disclosure policies, procedures, and tooling.
- Manage and respond to custom data requests, including those received through Health Data Research Network Canada's Data Access Support Hub (DASH) and CIHI's corporate data request program.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement data solutions that meet the needs of our stakeholders.
- Undergraduate degree in Health Sciences, Health Informatics, Statistics, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Three to five years of experience working with relational databases and large datasets, including manipulating, maintaining, validating, and preparing data.
- Proficiency in data manipulation and statistical software, such as SAS, R, Python, or other statistical software.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively to meet deadlines.
- Fluency in English is required; bilingualism in both official languages is an asset.
