Join the Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI) team as a Senior Analyst, Data Compliance. We are seeking a highly skilled professional to support our Data Request Services team in responding to custom data requests related to CIHI's acute and ambulatory care data.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement data extraction and quality assurance activities to ensure accurate and timely data delivery.
- Provide professional and timely client support to respond to internal and external client queries.
- Consult with clients to develop detailed specifications, analyze data, and generate analytic outputs.
- Maintain knowledge of CIHI's data holdings, trends in health services research, and stakeholder information needs.
- Contribute to key activities of the Data Governance branch, including coordination of activities with other program areas.
- Undergraduate degree in Health Sciences, Health Informatics, Statistics, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Three to five years of related experience working with relational databases and large datasets.
- Proficiency in data manipulation and statistical software, such as SAS, R, Python, or other statistical software.
- Proven organizational and time management skills, with an ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- Fluency in English is required; bilingualism in both official languages is an asset.
