Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments.
- Diagnose mental health disorders and develop treatment plans.
- Presume psychotropic medications as needed.
- Provide psychotherapy as appropriate.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A medical degree (MD or DO) and completion of residency in psychiatry; board certification is preferred.
- A valid medical license in the practicing state/province.
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
Estimated Salary:
$120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
