Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Korean Barbecue Service Manager to join our team at Omma's Korean Barbq and Grill.

About the Role

This is a permanent full-time position, working 40 hours per week. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our food service team, ensuring that high-quality food and exceptional customer service are delivered consistently.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage Food Service Staff

The Korean Barbecue Service Manager will oversee the recruitment, training, and development of our food service staff. This includes hiring new staff, providing on-the-job training, and coaching existing staff to meet our high standards.

Maintain Quality Control

The Korean Barbecue Service Manager will ensure that all aspects of our food service operation meet our quality control standards. This includes monitoring inventory levels, maintaining accurate records, and implementing processes to prevent waste and minimize costs.

Budget Management

The Korean Barbecue Service Manager will prepare and manage the budget for our food service operation. This includes estimating ingredient and supply costs, preparing reports, and submitting them to management.

Customer Service

The Korean Barbecue Service Manager will ensure that our customers receive exceptional service. This includes responding to customer complaints, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining positive relationships with regular customers.

Requirements
  • Education

A Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required for this role.

Experience

No prior experience is necessary as we provide comprehensive training for the right candidate.

Skills and Qualifications
  • Leadership Skills

The Korean Barbecue Service Manager must possess excellent leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and inspire staff to deliver high-quality results.

Communication Skills

The Korean Barbecue Service Manager must have strong communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with staff, management, and customers.

Time Management Skills

The Korean Barbecue Service Manager must be able to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions

The Korean Barbecue Service Manager will work in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure to meet deadlines and maintain high-quality standards. The role requires standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking. A physical demands assessment will be conducted during the interview process.

Salary

The salary for this role is approximately $60,000 per year, based on industry standards and location. However, this figure may vary depending on qualifications and experience.
