Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $35,000 per year, which is equivalent to approximately $17 per hour based on 40 hours of work per week. Our employees also enjoy a range of benefits, including access to comprehensive health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for career advancement.

Job Description

The primary responsibilities of this role include:

  • Bringing clean dishes, flatware, and other items to serving areas and setting tables
  • Cleaning and sanitizing items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units
  • Clearing and cleaning tables, trays, and chairs
  • Operating dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware
  • Placing dishes in storage areas
  • Replenishing condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas
  • Sanitizing and washing dishes and other items by hand
  • Keeping records of the quantities of food used
  • Packaging take-out food
  • Preparing, heating, and finishing simple food items
  • Taking customers' orders
  • Using manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs
  • Cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment
  • Handling and storing cleaning products
  • Receiving, unpacking, and storing supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas
  • Removing kitchen garbage and trash
  • Sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: Will train
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

This role requires working in a fast-paced environment and standing for extended periods. You must be physically capable of lifting heavy objects and handling sharp utensils.
