Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for managing the kitchen, overseeing food preparation, and supervising a team of cooks and kitchen staff. This is a permanent position with 40 hours per week, offering a competitive salary and benefits package.
Key Responsibilities- Manage kitchen operations, ensuring efficient service delivery and high-quality dishes.
- Supervise a team of cooks and kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet customer expectations.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
- Order supplies and equipment to maintain inventory levels.
- Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Clean kitchen and work areas to ensure a safe working environment.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Will train; prior experience in a kitchen environment preferred.
- Permanent position.
- 40 hours per week.
- English language required.
Based on industry standards and the level of responsibility involved, we offer a competitive salary of $60,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
