About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Boston Pizza. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service counter attendants and food preparers to ensure efficient service and high-quality food production.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Food Quality and Safety
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards by conducting regular quality checks and implementing corrective actions as needed.
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to optimize inventory management and minimize losses.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service by responding to customer complaints and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
    • Ensure that all customer interactions are handled in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and customer feedback to management.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of new menu items and promotions.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
    • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. Standing for extended periods is also required.
