Key Responsibilities:- Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to meet the needs of our customers and staff.
- Requisition Food and Supplies: Order and manage the inventory of food and kitchen supplies to ensure that we have the necessary resources to provide excellent service.
- Supervise Staff: Train and supervise staff members to ensure that they are performing their duties to the highest standard.
- Estimate Ingredient and Supplies: Calculate the necessary ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation to ensure that we have enough stock.
- Quality Control: Ensure that our food and service meet the highest quality standards.
- Prepare Budget and Reports: Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and other relevant data to inform business decisions.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience an asset.
- Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, team player, initiative, dependability.
- Provides Awareness Training: Offers awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities, newcomers and refugees, youth, Veterans, Indigenous people, and visible minorities.
