Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Jokers Theatre and Comedy Club. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead a team of food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Train new staff members on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure they are equipped to provide excellent service.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supply requirements to ensure efficient meal preparation and minimize waste.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet our high standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our guests.
  • Tray Assembly and Delivery: Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys to ensure timely and accurate service.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, with standing for extended periods and bending, crouching, kneeling.
