Culinary Supervisor Position at Jokers Theatre and Comedy Club

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Supervisor to join our team at Jokers Theatre and Comedy Club. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen and ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Food Preparation Staff: Lead and manage a team of food preparation staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
  • Provide Training and Development: Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of food preparation staff, focusing on job duties, sanitation, and safety measures.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate and manage inventory levels of ingredients and supplies to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that food meets our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Tray Assembly and Delivery: Oversee the assembly and delivery of trays to ensure timely and efficient service.
Supervision and Team Management
  • Lead a Team of 1-2 Members: Provide guidance, support, and direction to a team of 1-2 food preparation staff members.
Work Environment and Requirements
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and high pressure to deliver excellent service.
  • Physical Demands: Perform physically demanding tasks such as bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in all aspects of food preparation and service.

  • Reliability and Dependability: Demonstrate reliability and dependability in meeting deadlines and fulfilling responsibilities.
