Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead and manage a team of food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Train new staff members in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure staff are equipped to meet our high standards.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate and manage inventory of ingredients and supplies to ensure efficient meal preparation and minimize waste.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all food and service meet our quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our guests.
  • Tray Assembly and Delivery: Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys to ensure timely and accurate service.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Supervision: 1-2 people.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, physically demanding, and attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, excellent oral communication, flexibility, team player, and dependability.
