About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at Link Builders. As a Construction Laborer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading Materials: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the construction site.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Clean and lubricate cranes, and perform routine maintenance work to ensure the equipment is in good working condition.
  • Site Preparation: Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites, and level earth to fine grade specifications.
  • Material Handling: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt, and remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
  • Site Safety: Ensure a safe working environment by cleaning up chemical spills and other contaminants, and directing traffic at or near construction sites.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate cranes mounted on boats or barges to lift, move, and place equipment and materials.
Requirements
  • Physical Demands: The role requires a physically demanding work environment, with frequent lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
  • Work Environment: The Construction Laborer will work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and a high level of attention to detail required.
  • Education and Experience: A minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field is required, with a focus on construction and laboring.
  • Personal Qualities: The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a strong work ethic and ability to work under pressure.
