Laborer - Industrial Operations

About the Role:
LAPRAIRIE is seeking a skilled Laborer to join our team in an industrial environment. As a Laborer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our plant by performing various tasks and responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive directions from Plant Supervisor regarding day-to-day operations and tasks, which may include manual labor work, plant maintenance, or operational and maintenance work.
- Perform loading and unloading of trucks and rail cars, ensuring efficient and safe operations.
- Maintain the tidiness of the site and equipment, adhering to safety standards and regulations.
- Assist in fueling and filling equipment with the correct quantities of fuel and fluids, documenting the process in the inspection log.
- Participate in equipment maintenance and repair, working closely with the maintenance team.
- Perform other duties as required by Management, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Experience working in an industrial environment is preferred, with construction experience considered an asset.
- Ability to work at heights and possess mechanical aptitude is an advantage.
- Self-motivated individual with excellent interpersonal skills, able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment, with a collaborative approach and attitude towards work.
- Must be able to work 12-hour shifts, including day and night rotations, and have reliable transportation.
