Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Laborer to join our team at LAPRAIRIE. As a Laborer, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to plant maintenance, operations, and yard maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive directions from Plant Supervisor regarding day-to-day operations and tasks, including manual labor work, plant maintenance, and operational and maintenance work.
  • Perform loading and unloading trucks and rail cars, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
  • Maintain tidiness around the site and equipment, adhering to company standards.
  • Assist in fueling and filling equipment with the correct fluids, documenting quantities in the inspection log.
  • Perform various other duties as required by Management, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
Requirements
  • Experience working in an industrial environment is preferred, with construction experience considered an asset.
  • Ability to work at heights and possess mechanical aptitude.
  • Self-motivated individual with excellent interpersonal skills, able to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to work a rotating 12-hour shift schedule, including days and nights.
  • Must have own transportation.
