Position Overview

The role of a Material Handling Laborer at B.N. Dulay's Trux Ltd. involves various responsibilities related to the movement and management of goods within a dynamic work environment.

Education Requirements
  • No formal education, certificate, or diploma is required.
Work Environment

  • Exposure to hot and cold conditions
Work Setting
  • Primarily within a trucking company
Key Responsibilities
  • Constructing pallets for efficient storage and transport.
  • Loading, unloading, and relocating products and materials using manual labor or basic handling equipment.
  • Wrapping and securing goods for safe transportation.
  • Sorting, crating, and stacking items for organization.
  • Installing, lashing, and securing cargo effectively.
  • Storing materials and cargo in designated areas.
  • Performing maintenance tasks including cleaning and lubricating equipment.
  • Assisting in loading and unloading trucks with supplies and equipment.
Inspection and Equipment
  • Conducting inspections on automobiles and trucks.
  • Experience with industrial lift trucks and forklifts is beneficial.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to handle heavy loads, often exceeding 45 kg (100 lbs).
  • Physically demanding tasks with a large workload.
Personal Attributes
  • Adaptable and efficient in various situations.

Experience
